  1. Just made a webpage about this big redwood tree today. Reminded me of what a grand assignment Nichols had by being in the redwoods for over a half year. Unless he has family which was left behind. The Palm Cafe in Orick showed me a copy of the photo he gave them. Sounds like they stayed in that spot for a while.
