Quercus virginiana

Quercus virginiana, The Live Oak

The Live Oaks of Boone Hall near Charleston are a sight to behold. The Spanish Moss that grows on Live Oaks adds to the beauty.

The leaves are a dark and thick-shiny evergreen.

One of the owners planted a long row of the these majestic trees that grow up the drive.
